Sketch2Code was launched by Microsoft in late 2019 and is able to transform your pen and paper designs into an HTML prototype with the help of AI.

Thanks to the use of Computer Vision, the Microsoft team has built a system that understands what the designer is designing and translates it into HTML code. Sketch2Code allows you to speed up the manual code creation process by automatically carrying out this task.

Custom Vision and Computer Vision APIs (Azure Cognitive Services) are used to identify objects and recognize handwriting; and through the Azure Cloud Platform, objects that help identify the layout are returned. And finally the layout is passed to the MVC Sketch2Code web application to generate the HTML code.
